Ashish medical relief society is organizing life skills class for special need children with intellectual disability.We work mainly in the key areas of Down syndrome and autism spectrum disorder. We have designed a comprehensive 12 week program where we train these children in 12 weekend sessions about simple day to day activities in small steps. Idea is to train the child as per his age and abilities to achieve one single goal of living independent living.We believe every child is special and every special need child has ability to feel,live and enjoy a normal life like other children.Instead to pity them we should work to give them ability to fight the dis-ability and make the - ability.In 12 sessions we have covered almost everything a person need to cope up with his daily needs. Ashish medical relief society is a 18 year old registered ngo under societies act.It has been actively working for the upliftment of society by contributing in the field of education ,employment and healthcare. For years educational support to EWS category has been provided under the banner by ST.Krishna bodh public school shahadra ,employment to females and weaker sections has been a protocol of this institution.In the premises Ashish medical dispensary was started and taken care by Late Dr Praveen Kumar for more than a decade.
